Shacknews has some screenshots of the game here.This version 1.01 patch for the download (Direct2Drive) version of STALKER: Clear Sky improves performance, overall stability, fixes potential load/save issues, balances multiplayer and adds an extra multiplayer map. The company says its X-Ray engine 'underwent fairly serious changes,' such as performance optimizations, the addition of DirectX 10 support and volumetric lighting, and a higher level of overall graphical detail.

In the same Q&A, GSC also discusses the updated graphics engine for Clear Sky. That said, GSC added it has no plans to add a cooperative multiplayer mode to either Shadow of Chernobyl or Clear Sky.

After several years in development, GSC Game WorldвЂ™s S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl arrived in March to mostly positive reviews-at least, positive enough to get GSC to start work on a prequel, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, which is scheduled for the first quarter of next year.
